Plaque: Baron Jolly
In his "Dictionnaire historique et anecdotique des rues de Bruxelles", Jean d'Osta teaches us that rue Van Gaver was built in 1884 on grounds that belonged to Baron Jolly. Still, it is not clear why this plaque was put at this house, telling us that the person it commemorates was born and died in the house at the corner of the street.
