Statue: Frère-Orban Statue

The sculptor has carved his name and the date of 1910 on the statue. The two female figures represent Economic Freedom and Political Freedom. Inaugurated 21 July 1900, in place de la Societe Civile, which was then renamed for the great man. It was the last statue raised to the men who had fought for the liberation of Belgium.
