Tree & plaque: Plane crash at Staines

This tulip tree of Virginia {Liriodendron}, initially planted by H.R.H. Prince Laurent during the congress of the Junior Chamber Belgium at Louvain on 28/09/1997, was transplanted 22/06/2002 in this square to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the flying accident of Staines -near London- where, on 18/06/1972, seven leaders of the JCBelgium perished.

Let us remember the enterprising spirit of:

Pieter and Maggy Abrams - Michel César - Jean Luc Meyers - Jean-Jacques Tirou - Carlo Van Bavel - Pierre and Christiane Warmoes - Roald Wold
