Inaugurated May 1963 by the "Veterans of King Albert" (indicated by the "F.N.V.R.A. IXELLES" letters at the base of the plinth). This bust can also be seen in Avenue du Parc, St Gilles (map: Barrière, site number 19) and at square Marlow, Uccle (map: Parc de Wolvendael, not yet on the map)
