Plaque: Botanique Tunnel
To the left of the picture the blvd St Lazare goes into a tunnel. The tunnel that can be seen on the right of the picture was presumably at one time a pedestrian underpass but it is now blocked off and, from the odour, is now used for lavatorial purposes.
