Plaque: Mennessier
Many buildings in Brussels have the architect’s name inscribed on some stone somewhere. We’ve been told that this was done not (just) out of pride but as a form of copyright protection. This web site makes no attempt to record these, but this inscription is more that that, it’s an actual plaque, and he did the whole street! So he deserves a mention here.
Site: Mennessier (1 memorial)
1000, rue Van Gaver
The plaque is in rue Van Gaver but we think that the street referred to is the other one at this junction: rue des Commerçants.
