Plaque: Place Jourdan carnival
When we first visited this spot (in 2000-1) there was a very utilitarian plaque (looking more like a poor example of traffic signage), no statue and just a small raised pond whose function seemed to be to provide a receptacle for discarded plastic cutlery. 2005 and things have improved greatly.
