Memorial

Installed in 1901. Pollution-damaged, the statue was replaced with a copy on 7 May 1994. The original is now inside the Town Hall. There is a plaque on the roundabout at the foot of the fountain. The text is so small that it can't be read, even with a powerful zoom. We risked our lives crossing to the centre of the roundabout, only to discover the name of the company and the burgomaster responsible for the restoration.
